If you where in my shoes… what would you do? Hope you have time to give me your expert thoughts on this. Is there anything I can do… or should I starta doing a rsync and go back to the mac mini setup?įirst I went with SMB, but that is terribly slow even on site with Gigabit lan network, so I went for Netatalk … which at first seemed like a great choice… until the users started to connect from home. I went from a mac mini server to this setup since I wanted it to be more business (have iLO and things like that), but the users will not accept that it is this slow. I thought Netatalk was partly created so that there was a easy way to share to Macs on linux.
